Brooke & Chris’ wedding
Brooke and I did her trial three months before her wedding. She has gorgeous long, thick, naturally wavy hair and wanted to use MAC prolong wear foundation. She had sent us photos of her ideas prior to her trial. We were trying to decide between a loose up-do or a loose half-up / half-down bridal hairstyle with flowers in her hair. We finally opted for a half-up / half-down hairstyle because she felt most like herself with her hair down, and since the weather wasn’t took hot or humid we agreed that this was a good choice.
For her makeup she sent us a few photos of girls with smokey brown/grey shadow, with dark eyeliner and lashes. She also liked good contouring and nude lips. I suggested that we don’t go as dark with her eyes as the photo that she sent so that the details of her eyes don’t get lost in the harsh shadows of daylight. We wanted to go for a look that would transition from day to night and photograph well in both lighting situations.
On the wedding day I brought two of my talented stylists, Leticia and Jessica with me. We worked “on the hour” to get all 8 ladies done in less than 4 hours. Everyone was in such a great mood and so much fun to work with. I loved the gold dresses that Brooke choose to give as gifts to her bridesmaids. It’s the little details like this that make the “getting ready” shots perfect. Thanks again Sara Richardson for capturing these moments. You are so talented.
