Airbrush has become one of our most requested services for brides & bridal parties. Here’s why:

Some of the most common answers to your questions

  • What kind of airbrush products do you use?

We use Temptu professional airbrush products.  Their formula is dermatologist tested, non-comedogenic, paraben, phthalate and gluten free. It is suitable for all skin types. (Although if you have a specific allergy to any products, please let us know so we can check the ingredients list.) Temptu’s formula is silicone-based and works better during the hotter months because it is more durable. The super fine mist from Airbrush make-up is read by photography very well because it is pixilated the same way that film reads light. If that makes any sense. The result is a flawless, lightweight, natural, and undetectable coverage that will last all day and night.

  • What’s the main difference between airbrush and liquid foundation?

Airbrush works best for clients that are looking for a little less coverage, although it’s easily build able.  It’s very lightweight and feels great in the hotter months here in Cabo.

  • What are some of the benefits of airbrush make-up?

  • Which foundation is best for skin with blemishes and dark spots?

I recommend using regular liquid foundation with concealer for skin that has blemishes, large pores or dark spots (melasma). Airbrush doesn’t cover these quite as well. We can choose from MAC pro longwear, NARS, Armani Luminous Silk, Makeup Forever or Urban Decay foundations. Let us know your skin type in advance so we can bring the best foundation for you.

  • Which foundation is best for oily skin?

If you have oily skin I recommend regular foundation because we can choose one that is made for oilier skin types.

  • If I have dry skin can I still use airbrush make-up?

Yes, for our dry skin clients its important that you exfoliate well before having any foundation applied.  We use a moisturizer and primer first to prepare your skin for airbrush foundation so that it goes on smoothly. Skin should be clean and free of oils to get best results.
