Madison & Chris’ Wedding

Madison & Chris were married at Hacienda Cociana y Cantina, one of the most popular locations for many of our brides. I love getting our clients ready in these villas mainly because they have such a great ambiance, and the natural lighting is perfect. Most of the villas have huge pocket windows that slide into the wall so everything can be open, plus it’s on Medano Beach so our clients can look out to the arches and watch all the boats go by while having their salon services… It doesn’t get much better than that!!

Madison and her family & friends were such a delight to work with. I ended up doing her hair and makeup on all three days: the trial, rehearsal dinner and wedding day. I always love this option because on most occasions for the Rehearsal Dinner the brides want to look a bit different from the wedding day so it gives me a chance to show them a different look. Normally they end up liking it even more than the trial.

On her wedding day we did the wedding hair & make-up for her and her eleven guests. We brought a team of five stylists so that everything was done in a timely manner. As you can see from her photos, Madison went with a “Mexican- inspired” theme. From the Bridesmaid’s robes to the groomsmen’s sashes and bow ties every detail was thought out. I loved the dendrobium orchids that she ordered from her florist to put in the girls hair. The flower girls crown was to die for with pink and orange flowers! It was important for Madison to look like the best version of herself on her wedding day.

She normally doesn’t wear a lot of makeup so I wanted to make sure she felt comfortable. For all three days we used Temptu Pro Airbrush foundation. On the trial date we went for a very natural look with her eyeshadow, very light contouring and a little blush with lipgloss for the Rehearsal Dinner. If I remember correctly, she tried the lashes for the Rehearsal Dinner and liked them so much that she decided to add them on the wedding day. They really do make a difference in the photos. I highly recommend them for all of our brides and anyone who wants their eye to really pop in photos.

Congratulations Madison and Chris, hope you guys are doing well!
