Marcel was introduced to me by one of my stylists Sunset Vertii. They had worked 
together on a few projects and she loved his style. Because of her impeccable taste I decided to enter a drawing for a free photo shoot with him last February, and to my surprise – I won. After I received the photos, I was amazed at how the shots turned out. He is a perfectionist. Unlike a lot of other photographers, he only shoots a few shots and each one is calculated precisely.
Marcel’s work caught my eye again when I was browsing the internet and found what is still today my most favorite Trash The Dress Photo Shoot session. It was unlike anything I have ever seen before, completely unconventional with a storyline! My sense of humor related to their concept and the companionship and creativity needed to create and execute the idea was adorable.
A few months later, I had been booked to work on the shoot with LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian for Cabo Social Magazine. The editor was looking for a photographer, so I gave him Marcel’s name. We woke up before the crack of dawn. LeAnn was so sick, but she rallied for the shots. I thought for sure they were going to have to cancel the shoot. Nonetheless, we worked quickly to catch the sunrise as a crew of assistants from Hacienda used blankets to block the view from the nearby boats of the Paparazzi.
We also worked together on the shoot of The Real Housewives of O.C. with Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson for the May issue of Cabo Social Magazine at Casa Dorada.
Since then I have used Marcel for a few photo shoots to expand my portfolio. Recently we did these shots of Sunset Vertti & Mara Zapiain .
